I’ve been brewing this as a pour-over and the red fruit notes really come through, almost like dried cherries with a juicy finish. It’s smooth enough to drink black, which says a lot for a seasonal single-origin.
The floral aroma hits you as soon as the bag opens, and the cup itself tastes almost like a berry tea with that juicy finish. It's easily the most interesting coffee I've brewed this season, and I'm already sad it's limited.
The red fruit notes really come through once it cools a bit, and it stays juicy all the way down. I brewed it as a pour-over and the cup was surprisingly clean, not a hint of bitterness. Easily the best bag I've had from this harvest.
